Vampire: Bloodlines has five possible endings (though a couple of them have variations hinging on whether you or LaCroix is the one who opens the Ankaran Sarcophagus). *SPOILERS* (in case this isn't obvious) This is the good Anarch ending, where Prince LaCroix is the one who opens the Ankaran Sarcophagus. The Anarchs have sent their best operative--you--to depose the corrupt Prince, and once he is defeated you find yourself faced with a crucial decision: Leave the forboding Sarcophagus to the power-mad Prince, or claim the Sarcophagus--and its promise of vast power--for yourself. In this variation of the Anarch ending, you heed the warnings and turn away from the allure of the Sarcophagus, leaving it in LaCroix's despotic grasp for better or for worse.... In short, you survive, and the Prince opens Pandora's box and finds his just desserts. Enjoy!
